Forever Príncipe supports several researchers with their projects on São Tomé and Príncipe. One of the biggest and longest research projects of them is the ‘Island Biodiversity Race’ ran by the California Academy of Sciences.
Scientists and graduate students from the California Academy of Sciences have been visiting and studying the Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe for the past 17 years and are finding new endemic species on a regular basis.
